In brief:

  • Content is produced and reviewed by specialists with direct knowledge of the markets and topics covered
  • All factual claims are checked against primary sources before publication
  • AI tools assist our workflow but do not generate regulatory, legal, or statistical content
  • Errors and outdated information are corrected as soon as reasonably practicable; corrections can be requested at marketing@guestready.com.
Purpose and scope

GuestReady is a hospitality management company operating since 2016. The content we publish reflects that operational background: property management guides, rental market analyses, destination travel content, regulatory overviews, and investment resources for owners and investors across our markets.

This policy sets out the standards we apply when creating, reviewing, and publishing that content. It covers everything published on the GuestReady website and associated channels.

GuestReady currently operates in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UAE. We only commission and publish content on markets where we have direct operational presence, ensuring that what we publish is grounded in first-hand experience rather than secondary observation. A full list of our operational locations is available on our website.

How we decide what to publish

Topics are approved based on a combination of audience relevance, search intent, market context, and the direct operational knowledge of our local teams. Ideas come from owner and guest enquiries, market developments, regulatory changes, and platform policy updates.

Before a topic moves to production, we assess whether it:

  • Is relevant to property owners, investors, or travellers in markets where GuestReady operates
  • Can be covered accurately and with sufficient depth by the teams involved in producing it
  • Adds value beyond what is already widely available

Topics that are commercially convenient but cannot meet these criteria are not approved.

How our content is produced

Articles published on the GuestReady website are written by content specialists with direct knowledge of the markets and topics covered. Where editorially relevant, articles are attributed to named authors with their role and market indicated.

Content covering specific markets is informed by and, where appropriate, reviewed by GuestReady’s local country teams. Author and reviewer information is included at the article level to make the source of expertise transparent to readers.

Research and accuracy

Our content draws on official regulatory sources, institutional research, industry data, and the direct market knowledge of our local teams. Before any factual claim is published, we check its source. Statistics are reviewed for relevance and context, not just accuracy. Regulatory information is checked against primary sources, such as government publications and local authority guidance.

Where a claim cannot be verified to our satisfaction, we either remove it, qualify it appropriately, rephrase it cautiously, or clearly label it as an estimate, opinion, or illustrative example.

Some information, particularly regulatory requirements, licensing conditions, and market figures, can change after publication. Where we identify content as time-sensitive, we say so within the article and encourage readers to confirm the current position directly with the relevant official or authoritative source before acting on it.

How we cite sources

We link to sources for statistics and other factual references whenever practical, giving readers a clear path back to the original or most authoritative source. Where a source is behind a paywall or otherwise unavailable for direct linking, we still cite it as clearly as possible in the text.

We expect our content to distinguish clearly between facts, analysis, and opinion. When we draw on secondary sources, we do our best to trace the information back to its original source before publication.

We publish content with structured metadata, including article schema, author information, publication dates, and FAQ markup where applicable, to support accurate discoverability and citation across search engines and other retrieval systems.

Regulatory and licensing content

Several of our content categories cover short-term rental regulations, licensing requirements, and tax obligations across the markets we operate in. This content reflects the information available to us at the time of publication and is intended to help readers understand the regulatory landscape, not to replace professional advice.

It does not constitute legal advice. Rules change, local interpretations vary, and the right course of action for any individual situation depends on factors we cannot assess from a content article. Readers dealing with licensing, compliance, or tax questions should consult a qualified professional.

We review regulatory content when we become aware of material changes, but we cannot guarantee that every article reflects the current position at the time it is read.

Investment and performance content

Content covering rental yields, occupancy rates, and market performance is based on data available at the time of writing. It is intended to inform, not to advise. Rental income and investment returns depend on a wide range of variables, including property type, location, pricing decisions, platform performance, and market conditions, none of which we can predict or control on a reader’s behalf.

Nothing in our investment content should be read as a guarantee of financial outcomes. Readers considering a rental investment should take independent financial advice before making decisions.

How we use AI

We use AI tools at specific stages of our content workflow to assist with drafting and editorial review. These tools support our editorial process but do not replace human judgement. AI is not used to generate regulatory claims, licensing information, statistics, or market figures.

All such content is produced and verified by human editors against primary sources before publication. No AI-assisted content is published without human review and sign-off covering factual accuracy, source integrity, tone, and compliance with our editorial standards.

Publication and last-updated dates

All articles carry a visible publication date. Content that has been materially revised carries a last-updated date alongside the original publication date. For regulatory and market content, we review articles periodically and update the date when changes have been made, so readers can assess the recency of the information they are reading.

Corrections and updates

When we identify an error or become aware that published information is no longer accurate, we update the content as soon as reasonably practicable. If you spot something that looks wrong, you can reach us at marketing@guestready.com. We take corrections seriously and will review, update, or clarify as needed.

Editorial independence

Our content decisions are editorially driven. GuestReady has a direct commercial presence in the markets we write about, and we acknowledge that this creates an inherent interest in how those markets are presented. We manage that tension by applying the same factual and editorial standards to all content regardless of its commercial relevance to our business.

Owner and investor content is held to an analytical standard: opportunities are presented alongside risks, and we do not publish market assessments that exist primarily to support a commercial outcome. Where content has a sponsorship or third-party commercial relationship attached to it, we make that clear to the reader. No such arrangement influences the factual integrity of what we publish.
